Results of the Council of States Election in the Canton of Fribourg

In the canton of Fribourg, no one was elected to the Council of States in the first round of voting. A second round of voting will take place on November 12th. This election is for the Council of States, which is one of the two chambers of the Swiss Federal Assembly. The Council of States is composed of 46 members, two of which are elected from each of the cantons. The canton of Fribourg has two seats in the Council of States, and the two candidates who receive the most votes in the second round of voting will be elected. The election is open to all Swiss citizens who are at least 18 years old and have lived in the canton for at least one year.
