Richemont has appointed its former CEO Jérôme Lambert as head of the Jaeger-LeCoultre watch brand with effect from the beginning of 2025. He is thus returning to his former position, as the company announced on Friday afternoon.

Lambert was CEO of Richemont from 2018 to June 2024. Since then, he has held the role of Group Chief Operating Officer.

Lambert had already spent more than 17 years at Jaeger-LeCoultre in various management positions, and was CEO from 2002 to 2013, as can be seen from his Linkedin profile. "It is a great honor and pleasure to return to the Grande Maison, the place where I first set foot in the great world of Swiss watchmaking," Lambert is quoted as saying in the press release.

At the beginning of July, Richemont announced the departure of former Jaeger-LeCoultre boss Catherine Rénier. She had moved to the head position at Van Cleef & Arpels.
