Rösti travels to first summit on artificial intelligence

Federal Councilor Albert Rösti will travel to London on Thursday for the first international summit on artificial intelligence. On Friday, the trip continues to Paris, where Rösti will meet Agnès Pannier-Runacher, the French minister for the energy transition.
The international ministerial meeting in London will revolve around the security of artificial intelligence, as the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (Uvek) announced on Tuesday. At the initiative of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, high-ranking politicians from various continents will take part.
According to the Uvek, the meeting with Pannier-Runacher in Paris on Friday will focus on current energy supply issues. Switzerland and France maintain close relations in this area.
