Retour au fil d'actualité

The President of Ruag, Nicolas Perrin, has stated that Switzerland will have to decide on a potential NATO membership. Ruag will be increasingly responsible for maintaining weapons systems connected to NATO countries. Perrin also said that it would not be economically viable for the Swiss arms industry to produce weapons and ammunition independently, as the Swiss market is too small and export regulations are too strict. He believes that it would only be sensible to produce all components domestically. Perrin did not comment on whether he personally supports a NATO membership for Switzerland, as he believes it is a political question. He does, however, believe that it is important for Ruag to have an autonomous IT sector, as they are already system operators. He believes that it would be more efficient and innovative for the company's operational activities to be carried out in a corporate structure rather than in the administration.nnnnnnnnnn
