Sandoz, a Novartis Subsidiary, Displaces Adecco in the SLI.

The Swiss Exchange (SIX) announced that the Sandoz Group, a subsidiary of Novartis, will replace Adecco in the Swiss Leader Index (SLI) on October 4 or 5, depending on the successful completion of the Sandoz stock market launch. The change will also affect the SMIM, SPI, SXI Special Industry and their respective sub-indices. The SMI will not include Sandoz. The rankings of the indices are usually calculated annually from July 1 to June 30, but can be adjusted in extraordinary circumstances. As a result of the inclusion of Sandoz, Sonova's stocks have moved from SPI "Large" to SPI "Mid" and Jungfraubahn's stocks have moved from SPI "Mid" to SPI "Small".
