Several injured in accident involving three cars in Ticino

Six people were injured in a traffic accident in Collina d'Oro in Ticino on Saturday. A 33-year-old collided with two oncoming vehicles while overtaking.
The man was driving on the cantonal road in the direction of Agno TI shortly before midday when the collision occurred, according to the Ticino cantonal police. The exact cause of the accident was initially unclear.
All of the injured were taken to hospital by ambulance. According to the press release, the 33-year-old suffered moderate injuries, while the other five people sustained minor injuries. The road involved remained closed for a long time due to the accident.
