The Swiss canton of Bern is set to see a shift in its political landscape following the results of the 2021 cantonal elections. According to a projection by the GFS Bern Institute commissioned by the SRG, the Swiss People's Party (SVP) and the Social Democratic Party (SP) are each expected to gain one seat in the cantonal parliament. The Green Party, however, is expected to lose two seats. The final results of the election will be announced by State Secretary Christoph Auer at the Bern City Hall between 9 and 11 pm.
