SVP sections in Solothurn and Valais against BVG reform

The SVP sections in the cantons of Solothurn and Valais have decided to vote against the pension fund reform in the run-up to the federal referendum on September 22. They are thus opposing the slogan of their parent party, the SVP Switzerland.
In the canton of Solothurn, the decision was made by 62 votes to 0 with 3 abstentions, as the SVP Solothurn confirmed a report in "Blick" on Friday. The Valais section of the SVP decided against the BVG revision by 16 votes to 2.
At its delegates' meeting in Leuk VS last Saturday, the SVP Switzerland voted in favor of the pension fund reform by 174 votes to 37 with 16 abstentions.
