Swiss aircraft forced to turn back due to defective air conditioning system

A Swiss aircraft had to abort its flight to Sao Paolo on Thursday morning due to a faulty air conditioning system. The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft had to turn around over the Mediterranean and fly back to Zurich.
In response to an inquiry from Keystone-SDA, Swiss reported that there were 145 passengers and 18 crew members on board. The passengers were able to resume their flight in the early afternoon on a replacement aircraft.
