Swiss Man Arrested for Rape on Mallorca Held in Custody

A Swiss man is suspected of being involved in a group rape of an 18-year-old British woman on Mallorca, along with five French men. The incident occurred at a party in Magaluf, in the bay of Palma, 10 kilometres south-west of the Balearic capital. The woman had willingly accompanied the group to their hotel room, but what happened inside is now being investigated by the police. It is alleged that the group raped the woman and filmed the incident. The six suspects were presented to the justice system on Tuesday and are now in pre-trial detention. Swiss authorities have not yet been able to confirm the Spanish media reports. The Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs has stated that they have no knowledge of the case, but investigations are underway.nnnnnnnnnn
