Retour au fil d'actualité

Swiss travel companies and the Swiss government are helping Swiss holidaymakers on the Greek island of Rhodes, which has been affected by forest fires. The travel companies are organising flights back to Switzerland and the Swiss government has opened a help desk at Rhodes airport. Kuoni, Helvetic Tours and ITS Coop Travel are running an extra flight from Rhodes to Switzerland on Tuesday night, with around 100 seats available for people who have been evacuated from their hotels. Hotelplan and Tui Suisse are also offering free cancellations or rebookings for those who were due to travel to Rhodes in the coming days. The Swiss Touring Club has already helped 80 members who were in need on the island. The Swiss government has also opened a help desk at Rhodes airport and has answered around 150 enquiries from Swiss citizens. So far, there have been no reports of Swiss casualties.
