Switzerland faces a stormy Sunday

Switzerland is in for a stormy Sunday: according to SRF Meteo, there will be gusts of 70 to 90 km/h in the lowlands. On the mountains, there may be gale-force gusts of 110 to 150 km/h locally.
In addition, there will be heavy downpours during the day, as SRF Meteo wrote on Sunday. In between, there will be clearing and short sunny spells.
According to Meteonews Switzerland, gusts of over 100 km/h occurred locally on the mountains and Jura heights on Sunday night: the peak was the Moléson (1974 meters above sea level; FR) with 144 km/h. However, the stormy south-westerly wind also reached lower altitudes - the weather service measured around 118 km/h in Rünenberg (611 meters above sea level; BL).
