Tens of thousands demonstrate for all relationships at Pride Zurich

Several tens of thousands of people marched through Zurich on Saturday under the slogan "free in every respect": "You can't buy our Pride" and "404 Error - Gender not found" were among the slogans at the demonstration as part of Pride Zurich.
Thousands gathered on Helvetiaplatz long before the start of the parade. Many carried rainbow flags, others had the colors with them as an umbrella or wore them as a ribbon on their hat or directly on their T-shirt.
Others had the colors in their hearts, at least that's what one of the participants said when taking a selfie, to which his colleague laughingly interjected that he was already a colorful dog. The atmosphere on Helvetiaplatz was relaxed and easy-going right from the start. People chatted, waved, drummed and danced.
Over 100 groups registered for the demonstration, more than ever before. Zurich Pride, which has been taking place for 30 years, is being held under the motto "Free in every way - for 30 years". It is considered the most important LGBTQIA+ event in Switzerland.
