The Aargau SVP Gains a Seat – The EVP Loses Its Seat

In the National Council elections in the canton of Aargau, the Swiss People's Party (SVP) regained its seventh seat, which it had lost four years ago. The Christian Democratic People's Party (EVP) lost its only seat. The other parties defended their seats. The 16 seats are divided as follows: SVP 7 (2019: 6), SP 3 (3), FDP 2 (2), Mitte 2 (2), Green 1 (1), GLP 1 (1), EVP 0 (1).

The Swiss People's Party (SVP) was the biggest winner in the National Council elections in the canton of Aargau, regaining its seventh seat, which it had lost four years ago. The Christian Democratic People's Party (EVP) was the biggest loser, losing its only seat. The other parties defended their seats, with the SVP having the most seats with seven, followed by the Social Democratic Party (SP) with three, the Free Democratic Party (FDP) with two, Mitte with two, the Green Party with one, the Green Liberal Party (GLP) with one, and the EVP with none.
