Regional trains and buses have become cleaner according to the Federal Office for Transport (BAV). Test customers reported fewer stains, dust and dirt in and on vehicles. The ratings have improved for the third year in a row, with the best ratings for tidiness in the vehicles and the condition of the equipment such as seats, waste bins and toilets. The information for passengers at stops and stations and in buses and trains has also improved. Trains were more punctual than buses, with 95% of trains arriving less than three minutes late and 90% of buses arriving on time. The BAV reported that the quality measurements had a positive effect on the performance of the companies. Buyers can order improvements based on the data if necessary.nnnnnnnnnnnn
