The Swiss Trade Union (SGB) has expressed concern about the increasing financial pressure on households with employment income in Switzerland. Despite the good economic situation, employers are only willing to compensate for inflation, while high margins are used to increase top salaries, bonuses and dividends. The SGB has criticised the lack of relief from the federal government and parliament and is preparing to mobilise against the fourth consecutive wage round with a real wage increase of five percent by 2024. The SGB has called for concrete measures to address the rising cost of health insurance premiums and rental prices, and will launch a demonstration for purchasing power on September 16th in Bern.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
