Retour au fil d'actualité
Three Swiss parties - the FDP, the Greens and the GLP - are holding their delegates' meetings on Saturday. In Tenero, Ticino, the FDP will be focusing on the issue of illegal migration, while the Greens will be discussing the energy transition in Herisau, canton of Aargau. All three parties will also adopt slogans for the federal votes on November 24.
With a position paper entitled "Stop illegal migration", the FDP wants to demand a "more rigorous" fight against illegal immigration. Abuses must be addressed openly if the population is to continue to support Switzerland's humanitarian tradition, according to the program for the delegates' meeting (DV) in the southern canton.
In the housing and infrastructure sector, meanwhile, the "blockade policy of the left" must be combated. The party leadership announced in advance that property rights would be at the heart of the vote on the two tenancy law proposals. A panel discussion will also be held at the DM to discuss recipes for more affordable housing. The FDP also intends to adopt the slogan on the bill for the uniform financing of outpatient and inpatient services (Efas) in the healthcare system.
Greens want to get in the mood for referendum
Meanwhile, the energy transition is one of the main topics at the Green Party's AGM in the cantonal capital of Ausserrhoden, Herisau. A panel discussion is also taking place here - on Switzerland's energy future. Despite the clear support for the energy transition among the population, according to the Greens, the Federal Council is trying to bring the construction of new nuclear power plants back onto the political stage. The party therefore wants to adopt a nuclear power plant resolution in Herisau - and prepare for a possible referendum.
The Greens also want to vote on the Young Greens' environmental responsibility initiative. The initiative calls for an economy "within planetary boundaries". The vote will take place in February 2025.
The Green Liberals are once again meeting for their DM in Rüschlikon ZH at the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute. The delegates want to adopt the slogans on the two rental proposals for November 24. There will also be elections to confirm the party executive committee. The GLP will also be celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Zurich branch and commemorating former member of the Council of States Verena Diener, its founding member who recently passed away.
