Track worker killed in an accident between Schlieren and Altstetten

A track worker was hit and fatally injured by a train on the railroad line between Schlieren and Zurich-Altstetten on Tuesday morning. Rail traffic is restricted.
The accident occurred in the town of Schlieren, as the Zurich cantonal police confirmed an online report by Blick at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency.
Due to the accident, rail traffic on the Zurich HB-Olten line is expected to be restricted until eleven o'clock, according to SBB.
It is the second accident within a short space of time; just last Sunday, a 51-year-old track worker was hit by a passenger train in Erlen TG and seriously injured.
