Train blocked on Olten-Bern line – rail traffic restricted

Rail traffic on the Olten-Bern line was restricted on Monday morning. According to SBB, this was due to a train blocking the line.
SBB expected cancellations, detour and delays on numerous lines this morning, according to SBB's Railinfo rail information service. The disruption was expected to last until 9 am. Initially, the railroad company had expected disruptions until 7 am.
The SBB rerouted trains from Geneva Airport to Basel and vice versa via Biel. Trains between Geneva Airport and Olten, Lucerne, Zurich and St. Gallen also ran via Biel.
