The provisional distribution of seats gives the Greens 12 seats and Basta 6. The Green Liberals were among the losers after the postal votes were counted. They lose 2 seats. There are shifts in the middle-class camp: The Basel-specific LDP loses 1 seat, while the FDP and SVP each gain one.

The EPP also gained 1 seat. The center remains equally strong. So far, the State Chancellery has counted 40,526 valid ballot papers. The final results are expected at 9.00 pm.
