Upper Maggia Valley supplied with electricity and mobile communications again

The electricity and mobile phone network in the upper Maggia Valley, which was destroyed by the storms at the weekend, has been largely restored. This was announced by the Ticino emergency services on Tuesday at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency.
Only in Mogno and Piano di Peccia were there still problems with the electricity supply, explained Renato Pizolli, head of communications at the Ticino emergency services. Otherwise, the electricity and mobile phone networks were working well again in the region, which had been badly hit by the storms.
