Winter closure of the Susten Pass will be lifted on Friday

The canton of Uri plans to lift the winter closure of the Susten Pass on June 28 at 2 pm. The pass is one of the last Alpine passes to reopen after the winter.
The opening of the Susten Pass is being carried out in consultation with the neighboring canton of Bern, the Uri Building Department announced on Wednesday.
