Retour au fil d'actualité

Netflix and the Swiss French-language broadcaster RTS have announced their first co-production, "Winter Palace", a series about the birth of luxury hospitality in the Alps. The eight 45-minute episodes will take viewers back to the end of the 19th century, when a Swiss hotelier and an English aristocrat invented winter tourism. The series will be written by British screenwriter Lindsay Shapero and directed by Pierre Monnard from Freiburg, and will be produced by RTS, Point Prod from Geneva and Oble Studios. Filming will begin in October 2023 and will continue until March 2024. The series will be broadcast in both English and French, and will be available to viewers in Switzerland and around the world on RTS 1 and Play Suisse before being released on Netflix. The commitment of platforms to invest in local creations will come into effect on January 1, 2024, following a successful vote in favour of the Lex Netflix in May 2022.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
