Woman injured in fall from chairlift

A 60-year-old woman fell from a chairlift in Stoos SZ on Saturday afternoon and sustained serious injuries. After first aid on site, a helicopter from Swiss Air-Rescue flew her to a hospital outside the canton.
The woman was alone on the chairlift at Fronalpstock, according to the cantonal police. They have launched an investigation together with the Schwyz public prosecutor's office and are looking for witnesses.
