According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, all states invited to the peace conference on the Bürgenstock have demonstrated their commitment to the UN Charter and international law. "I am sure that every peace-loving nation in the world is interested in participating in this summit."

The summit will serve as a platform to discuss ways to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine in accordance with the UN Charter and international law, Zelensky wrote on Thursday on X.

The rules enshrined in the UN Charter protect all nations from attacks and violence. "It is therefore our shared global responsibility to protect them through concrete actions and not just words," Selenskyj continued. This is precisely what the first peace summit in Switzerland is about.

It is an honor for her to invite leading politicians from all over the world to the first Ukraine Peace Summit, wrote President Viola Amherd on the short message service X. "Let us advance the dialogue on the basis of the UN Charter to a 'Path To Peace'." Global cooperation is the key to shaping a peaceful future.
