Zurich Airport suspends landings due to IT glitch

The worldwide IT breakdown on Friday has also had an impact on Zurich Airport. Landings are currently no longer possible, as the airport announced. However, flights with destination Zurich that are already in the air are still allowed to touch down.
Several airlines have delays, numerous flights are canceled altogether. Check-in has to be done manually in some cases. The airport recommends that passengers contact their airline to find out the status of their flight. Companies at the airport are also affected by the global IT problems.
