Army Chief Süssli Will Focus Again on Defense

This is in response to the deterioration of the security situation in Europe due to the Russian attack on Ukraine. The Swiss Army will not be undergoing a major reform, but rather taking smaller steps to adapt to the changing security environment. These steps include strengthening the ground troops and training them for urban warfare, which will involve training abroad.
