Werner Nuber has been leading the Museum for Communication in Bern for 22 years. At the end of September, he will step down and Alexander Fleischer and Klaus Rapp will take over the interim leadership until a new president is appointed. During his tenure, Nuber has significantly shaped the institution and developed it into a highly popular and internationally renowned house. Thanks to its tactile and interactive exhibition design and current topics, the museum has become a popular destination for the younger generation and communication enthusiasts. The number of visitors has increased from almost 40,000 in the last 20 years to almost 120,000 in 2019. The Museum for Communication in Bern is supported by the Swiss Post and Swisscom with a significant annual contribution.
