A Swiss woman was found dead in India, confirmed by the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs (EDA) on Sunday evening. Indian media reported on Saturday that a woman from Zurich had been allegedly murdered by an Indian man due to a rejected marriage proposal in a district of Delhi. The woman, whom the Indian man had met on a dating app, was found bound and in a plastic bag outside a school on Friday. The alleged murderer was arrested on Friday evening and the woman was identified. Newspapers such as "Blick" and "20Minuten" also reported on the incident.
