The airline Swiss has decided to continue to suspend flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut. For Tel Aviv, the extension applies up to and including Monday, September 2. Swiss will no longer fly to Beirut until the end of September.

The decision was made after a renewed review of the situation in the Middle East, as Swiss announced on Friday. The airline intends to use the north-eastern part of Iranian airspace for overflights again from Tuesday, August 27. Swiss will continue to fly around the rest of Iranian airspace and the airspace over Iraq and Israel until further notice.
