The Signa real estate group, which has run into difficulties, has undergone a castling in a central company. The Swiss stock corporations Eugster/Frismag AG and AE Familienholding AG took over the share of "Familie Benko 2017 Zwei GmbH" in Signa Holding GmbH on November 10. According to the official gazette, the changes were entered in the commercial register today, Tuesday. Together, the new shareholders hold a stake of 11.5 percent.
Eugster/Frismag AG, based in Amriswil (TG), is a manufacturer of coffee machines for brands such as Jura, Melitta and Miele, founded by Arthur Eugster. AE Familienholding AG is also part of the Eugster family.
The Swiss investor family was already considered to be involved, but according to media reports, their voting rights were represented in trust by Signa founder Rene Benko until recently. Signa did not initially respond to an APA inquiry.
