Driver clocked at 73 km/h in a 30 km/h zone near Freiburg

A 20-year-old driver was clocked at 73 kilometers per hour (km/h) in a 30 km/h zone in the Fribourg conurbation on Sunday. His driver's license was confiscated and his vehicle confiscated.
The young man was discovered during a speed check as he was driving towards Murten in Granges-Paccot, as reported by the Fribourg cantonal police on Sunday evening. The driver will be reported to the relevant authorities.
