Ticino National Councillor Greta Gysin cancels her bid for the presidency of the Greens

National Councillor Greta Gysin from Ticino is also not standing for election to the presidency of the Swiss Green Party. She wants to devote her energy to other issues.
It took her a long time to make up her mind, Gysin told the Keystone-SDA news agency on Friday. The office of President of the Greens had already appealed to her. However, she confirmed a report by the Ticino radio and television station RSI that she does not want to run.
At the moment, it is simply not possible. She has set her political priorities for the next few years, for example as President of the National Council's State Policy Committee (SPK). This will take time and she wants to do it well.
