Woman found dead in the Rhine – man arrested in Schaffhausen

A 27-year-old woman who has been missing since the end of January has been found dead in the Rhine near Laufen-Uhweisen ZH. The police have not ruled out the possibility that the woman's death was the fault of a third party. A man suspected of the crime was arrested in the canton of Schaffhausen.
Police discovered the woman's lifeless body on the banks of the Rhine on Friday afternoon, as the Schaffhausen police announced on Saturday. They gave no details of the circumstances.
The suspect is a 32-year-old man. He was arrested on Friday evening. The exact circumstances of the missing woman's death are the subject of an ongoing investigation, the police said. They did not provide any further details.
