The terminal at Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse was evacuated again on Monday evening. The evacuation was carried out for safety reasons, as stated on the website.

The airport reopened after 6 pm. The airport announced that flight operations would be gradually resumed.

The airport already had to be evacuated on Friday and Saturday last week. This was due to false bomb threats. A bomb threat was apparently also received on Monday. It was already the fourth this year.

In October 2023, there were four false bomb threats against Euroairport within seven days. In France, where the airport is located, there were hundreds of such threats last year. These are said to be linked to the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 and the murder of a teacher.
