Two young people from the canton of Schaffhausen have been arrested on suspicion of supporting the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS). The public prosecutor's office is investigating them for possible planned explosives attacks.
The detainees are a 15-year-old Swiss and a 16-year-old Italian, as the public prosecutor's office in Schaffhausen announced on Saturday. The aim of the investigation is to clarify the exact intentions of the two suspects.

The two young men were arrested over the Easter weekend. They were arrested in the canton of Schaffhausen, public prosecutor Peter Sticher told the Keystone-SDA news agency on request.
