18-year-old arrested in Thurgau on suspicion of terrorism

A further person has been arrested in the canton of Thurgau in connection with the arrests of two youths on suspicion of terrorism in Schaffhausen. This was confirmed by the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland to the Keystone-SDA news agency.
The 18-year-old Swiss national is also suspected of having supported the banned terrorist organization Islamic State (IS). In addition, the Office of the Attorney General has opened proceedings on suspicion of criminal preparatory acts for intentional homicide.
