A 47-year-old ski tourer perished after a steep fall in Tschlin.
A ski tourer has had a fatal accident in Tschlin in the Lower Engadine. The 47-year-old fell around 700 meters down the mountain on Sunday morning.
According to the cantonal police of Graubünden, Rega was only able to recover the man dead.
The ski tourer was accompanied by a colleague from Tschlin on the ascent to the 3295-metre-high Muttler when he fell down the eastern flank during a break at around 09:45. The Graubünden cantonal police said on Sunday that they were investigating how the accident could have happened.
