Vue-des-Alpes tunnel closed after accident

An accident involving a truck occurred in the Vue des Alpes highway tunnel between Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds on Tuesday morning. There were major traffic delays. According to the police, the tunnel will remain closed for two to three hours.
"There is nothing serious, but as the accident occurred in a tunnel, we had to intervene with large equipment," Georges-André Lozouet, spokesman for the Neuchâtel cantonal police, told the Keystone-SDA news agency. One person was slightly injured.
