In an interview, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov described Switzerland as an “openly hostile country”. It is therefore not suitable for negotiations on the Ukraine conflict, Lavrov was quoted as saying by the state news agency Ria Novosti on Friday.

Lavrov said in the interview with Russian radio stations that Switzerland had turned from a neutral country into an “openly hostile country”.

The 10-point plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi must be rejected as a basis for settling the war in Ukraine. Instead, a basis should be discussed on which Russia is prepared to negotiate.
