The Zurich compulsory measures court has also ordered Brian Keller's opponent to be remanded in custody. The police arrested the Tiktoker "Skorp808" at the weekend.

The Zurich public prosecutor's office opened criminal proceedings on suspicion of threats and other offenses. The court has now granted the application for pre-trial detention, the public prosecutor's office announced on Tuesday.

"Skorp808" and Brian Keller have been feuding on social media for some time. Videos of Keller posing with a knife and demanding his opponent's head went viral at the beginning of the year. Keller claimed at the time that this was advertising and "trash talk", as is customary before a boxing match. He was then questioned by the public prosecutor's office.

The conflict escalated last week. Brian is said to have knocked his opponent down. The latter in turn is said to have made threats.

Known as "juvenile offender Carlos"

Brian Keller became nationally known as "juvenile offender Carlos" in 2013 thanks to a documentary film about a youth lawyer. He was released on November 10, 2023 - accompanied by the media and the public - after spending years in various prisons.

At the age of 28, he could finally live his own life, he said at the time, surrounded by cameramen. He wanted to become a professional boxer and simply be a decent citizen.
