Occupants of the University of Basel also miss second deadline

The squatters at the University of Basel have not responded to the second ultimatum issued by the university management. The university will now consider further steps.
"We will stay until the University of Basel meets our demands," said a spokesperson for the occupation outside the Bernouillanum on Wednesday morning. The university had previously asked the protesters to leave the premises by 08:00 on Wednesday morning. This was after an initial deadline had expired on Tuesday evening.
The university management will now examine further steps, a spokesperson for the University of Basel told the news agency Keystone-SDA.
