Special exhibition “Paris Olympique” on show in Lausanne

The Olympic Museum in Lausanne is opening the special exhibition "Paris Olympique" on May 25. It highlights the three Parisian editions of the Olympic Games - 1900, 1924 and 2024.
The exhibition uses large-scale projections to transport the public to the City of Lights and offers them an "immersive 360-degree experience", as the Olympic Museum writes in a press release on Wednesday. Visitors will get to know the Olympic sites, the various cultural and sporting trends, the athletes and the development of the Olympic Games.
However, "Paris Olympique" is not a traditional museum exhibition, but an adiovisual show with a minimum of text and accessible to all age groups, regardless of language. In summer, while the athletes compete for medals in Paris and new champions are crowned every day, the experience is updated with photos and videos of ongoing competitions.
The special exhibition will be opened on May 25 in the presence of Swiss Olympic athletes Nikita Ducarroz (BMX Freestyle), Zoé Claessens (BMX Race) and Céline van Till (Para Cycling Road), who will also be signing autographs.
