Media union wants better social partnership

The Swiss Syndicate of Media Professionals (SSM) is hoping that the new SRG Director Susanne Wille will strengthen the social partnership. This is important in an uncertain environment, Silvia Dell'Aquila, Central Secretary of the media union, told the Keystone-SDA news agency.
The future director will be under considerable pressure in view of the political challenges ahead. She must be aware that employees are SRG's most important resource, the SSM continued. Accordingly, Wille should be cautious when taking personnel measures and maintain a better relationship with the trade unions.
