Motorcyclist fatally injured in accident in Hölstein BL

Early on Sunday evening, a 28-year-old motorcyclist was fatally injured in an accident in Hölstein BL. He lost control of his vehicle shortly before a left-hand bend for unknown reasons, as reported by the Basel police on Monday.
The accident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. on Bennwilerstrasse. The motorcyclist suffered extremely serious injuries in the accident and had to be flown to hospital by rescue helicopter. He succumbed to his injuries there, according to the press release.
