Four men are in custody after fiber optic sabotage in Rheinfelden

Following several acts of sabotage on the fiber optic network in Rheinfelden AG, four suspects were arrested at the beginning of May. According to the Aargau public prosecutor's office, the men are in custody.
Due to the ongoing proceedings, no further details of the investigation can be disclosed, Adrian Schuler, media spokesman for the public prosecutor's office, confirmed a corresponding report in the "Neue Fricktaler Zeitung" on Tuesday.
Fiber optic cables were cut several times in Rheinfelden last December. Internet, telephone, TV and radio connections were affected by the interruption.
