FDP and GLP speak of an important step towards the future of energy

The FDP Switzerland describes the Swiss electorate's "yes" to the energy decree as an "important step towards a secure energy future". The GLP speaks of a "central and very concrete step towards greater security of supply and climate protection".
The "partial step" offers Switzerland the opportunity to significantly expand its own electricity production, writes the FDP in a press release on Sunday. Switzerland is thus making an important and, above all, rapid contribution to security of supply.
The FDP is also calling on the environmental associations to respect the decision. They should refrain from lodging objections as of today.
The Green Liberals speak of an "important confirmation of our energy policy". According to a press release, party president Jürg Grossen said that the GLP played a key role in shaping the Electricity Act in parliament.
