Cassis: “Hand over responsibility after conference, if desired”

According to Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, Switzerland is currently negotiating with other countries about its future role in the peace process. "We are prepared to hand over responsibility and continue to accompany the process with other tasks if this is desired," said Cassis.
Cassis defended himself against the accusation that hosting the Ukraine peace conference was a step too far for Switzerland. "Switzerland must have the courage to do things that it can do," he told the media in Bern on Monday.
