Trailer overturns and blocks A12 between Vaulruz and Bulle

A trailer overturned on the A12 between Vaulruz and Bulle in the canton of Fribourg on Sunday morning. The driver of the off-road vehicle towing the trailer was uninjured. The highway remained closed for several hours due to the accident.
The accident was reported to the alarm center of the Fribourg cantonal police at 9:45 a.m., as reported on Sunday. When the police patrol arrived, the trailer, which was loaded with metal racks, was lying across both lanes.
It was initially unclear why the accident occurred. The police only reopened the A12 to traffic at 12.30 pm.
