Rail traffic on the Siders-Visp line in Valais, which was interrupted between Leuk and Gampel, is running again as planned from Thursday. The repairs following the devastating storms are on track.
According to Wednesday's forecasts, train services should resume on Thursday at 12 noon, as the SBB announced on Wednesday evening. The water level of the Rhone had dropped and the repair work could soon be completed.
However, SBB recommends checking the online timetable before every journey. Initially, they had expected to be able to lift the interruption on Tuesday.
